Staying at the Atherstone House was so comfortable, it it was like having a home away from home. Very close walking distance to the center of Inverness, with lots of restaurants and shops close by. Yet quiet and secluded in a cozy residential area. Magda and John were very helpful and accommodating. The hot breakfast was very nice with homemade porridge and yoghurt options. We would definitely stay at Atherstone House if we ever visit Inverness again.

Brilliant hosts, great rooms and location, divine breakfast! Would definitely recommend.PS. Even though on booking it might appear like you can only pay by cash, card payment is also accepted.

This was a last minute booking as I was stranded in Inverness due to floods. My hosts kindly allowed me to check in early and were very welcoming and helpful.My room was cosy and clean. Breakfast was very good.

An excellent location for us to explore from, free car parking and comfortable room with good facilities. Happy and friendly hosting, with home-prepared aspects to breakfast made the start to the day refreshing. Thoroughly to be recommended!
